  Does The Bible Teach Unconditional Love?

  i heard a song on the radio (christian station)and it repeated over and over the words "unconditional love".. i don't feel this is a bible treaching.

  i read that a person who is born again can loose his reward by practicing sin willfully.. i'm intrested in you opinion.

  Thanks for your explanation and I hope you continue to has sucess in your walking in the Spirit.
  A think it can be a real danger to feel God's love is unconditional.
  I think some fool themselves to think that way.

  While walking in the Spirit we still have to fight the flesh.
  To feel that God's Love is unconditional may cause one to not put for a earnest effort to walk in the Spirit.

  I think God's Love is much greater than we can totally understand but the better we understand it the more we will live it.

  regret my "former" life as a Witness

  disassociating yourself slowly or quickly is a matter of perspective; think about it: you lose either way, i.e.

  the witnesses will treat you like you've become part of the "bodysnatchers" of the world and no matter how you rationalize it, there is no honorable way out in the eyes of the witnesses.. i was df'd about 1.5 years ago (as they said that i left the organization so it was entirely my fault, but little do they know that their organization left me, as i appealed the gb's decision), and the sudden break-off of family and friends in the truth is always devastating to say the least - it's an emotional explosion which in your wildest dreams would normally never ever happen....i can now understand what death means, at least in the beginning....yes i was dead though living - even though when i went back to the meetings afterwards, i could feel the lonely emptiness, the non-existence of myself.

  yet when by accident i would be gazing straight into the eyes of one of my (former) friends, he would just stare past me as if i didn't exist at all even though i attempted to smile at him in indicating respect to him....how convenient for them to ignore a fellow friend and instead make me feel like the lowest person on earth - but then..of course they were taught to respond in this manner to anyone who is df'd.... then i though to myself...what would happen when eventually i would be re-instated: yes, then after the announcement most would want to see me at the end of the meeting all happy and oh so loving and wanting to be my best friend all over again - in a heartbeat they'll change from zombies to angelic like mortal creatures of love.... for this very reason i cannot return to the meetings in the hope of wanting to be re-instated and have this hypocrisy again heaped upon me like tentacles.

  Just be yourself and say Hi to be freindly let it show.
  Don't take it personal if they don't respond that's their unchristian bad manners.
  You though lift your head up and don't let the bad people do conquer you.

  UNAFFILIATED Christian Where Do You Feel Wanted??

  what if you as an unaffiliated christian went to a pastor, elder, or apostle of a church and after his service you went up to him and said, im one of those unaffiliated christians.. what would his reaction be?.

  would he look very startled?.

  would he even view us as a real christian?.

  I haven't found you to be untruthfull and I do appreciate your comments.
  I feel the same way about things as you do.

  I was asking my questions in the begining because they are real and I thought we could have some very interesting banter. I like this subject and am always willing to hear other express themselves.

  I will always stay UNAFILIATED(hopefully), but will never judge my brothers who choose to join a particular group.
  I just feel it is harder to be a real christian when you give all that authority over to a man or Organization. Being in the Borg taught me that a lesson, which I'll never forget.

  Thanks I see you are well meaning, and hope you find happiness your your being a christian.
  I think (Shelby)is not what you think she is she. I will form my own opinion of her, but not from hear-say. So far I have nothing but respect for Shelby.
